Manual Handling Course Content
So what do we cover in training? We cover both theory and practical. Firstly we discuss the content which is listed below. Secondly we cover the practical section. The trainer will demonstrate the lifts and then each participant will get the opportunity to get involved and get some practice in.

- Risk assessment and manual handling risk factors.
- Anatomy of the spine and injuries.
- Principals of manual handling.
- Appropriate manual handling systems of work for the individual’s tasks.
- Practice of manual handling techniques.
Who should attend Manual Handling training?
All employees should attend Manual Handling Training at least every 3 years.
Approximately 2 hours for group training.
Max 12 participants per course at any time
Manual Handling Certificates are valid for 3 years and provided on the day
