All employees require Manual Handling prior to starting work and should attend refresher training every 3 years. If you are currently updating your C.V. or applying for a new job then it is important to ensure that you have an up-to-date valid certificate.

As a result of Manual Handling training, you will have the knowledge, skills and attitude to enable you to perform manual handling tasks in a safe manner, therefore reducing injury and absence from work. Manual handling injuries are responsible for one in every three absences of those out of work for three or more days.

Yes! Our manual handling course offers online learning combined with an online visual assessment, requiring no face-to-face training at all.

Yes, each of the modules have questions at the end to ensure that you have fully understood the theory section. This followed by a video call to cover the practical assessment ensures that you receive the same training as you would in a classroom environment. You will receive the same full certificate after completion of both sections, this will be emailed on completion of both section. 

This course issues you with a certificate valid for three years. After which time a refresher course should be completed.

The cost for this course, plus visual assessment is €50.

The duration of the online course takes approximately 75 minutes to complete. Followed by a 15 minute visual assessment.

Yes it is approved by IIRSM, CPD and IOSH.  It is regularly reviewed to ensure that the content is kept up to date.
